How Organized Are Your Home Closet and Drawers?
It is interesting the lengths that many of us will go to make it appear that we are organized. From buying stackable cubes to scrapbook paper storage drawers and ribbon holder organizers, we are a nation of consumers who often need to purchase storage solutions to organize all of the items that we purchase.
What starts as one three drawer organizer for a few holiday piano books turns into four matching sets of drawers to separate more books that were purchased because they were on sale and now there was a way to keep them organized. It is sort of a chicken and egg kind of thing. It is often difficult which came first, the items that needed to be organized or the adorable stackable cubes that match the play room. Either way, the latest research indicates that there are as many as 300,000 items in the typical American home.
With the use of customized furniture, including storage cube organizers, consumers can now find a way to not only organize their passions, but also disguise just how much stuff they really have.
Stackable Cubes Offer a Way for Teachers to Organize Their Classrooms
Besides the home, another way that many organizational items are being put to use this time of year is by teachers in classrooms across the nation. As the last few weeks of summer wind down and students of all age are preparing to get back into the classroom, there are teachers who are doing everything in their power to make sure that the classrooms are prepared. Especially at the elementary levels where students need a way to stay organized for spending an entire day in a room, teachers spend an extraordinary amount of time and energy finding just the right materials.
With color coded bins, shelves, and over the chair organizers, there are many resources available. Teaching a class of 25 to 30 students how to maintain a space may be less important than the learning that goes on, but organization is still necessary. When students are taught an efficient way to put their work and their materials away a classroom can run more efficiently and a greater amount of time can be dedicated to the actual learning, instead of searching for lost or misplaced materials.
The average American home has nearly tripled in size over the past 50 years, so it should come as no surprise that with all of this available room, many families have more items than they know what to do with. From classrooms to bedrooms, there are a number of organizational devices that can help make a space more functional.
